The Princess and the Frog

On Saturday Mommy and Daddy took me to go see the Princess and the Frog. I did pretty good. We went to the 9:30am movie so there was hardly anyone in the theatre. I sat through about the first 40 minutes and then got bored. Mommy took me to the bathroom and then Daddy took me for a walk. Then I came back and watched the last 20 minutes or so. I just can’t sit still that long, but I really did like the movie!! Toy Story 3 is coming out in June so maybe by then I will sit though a movie a little better.

POLAR EXPRESS!!

On Thursday, December 17th, Mommy, Daddy and Granny took me on the Polar Express. We drove up to Williams, AZ (outside of Flagstaff) which was about a 3 hour drive. When we got there we ate dinner and looked around. There was snow everywhere!! Mommy and Daddy got me new pajamas to wear. All the kids that were going on the train had PJ’s on….even some of the Parents too!! We boarded the train and left the station for the North Pole at 6:30PM. The ride to the North Pole was about 30 minutes. They had waiters like in the movie and they passed out cookies and hot chocolate. I don’t like hot chocolate though. Then they read the story of the Polar Express to the whole train!! It was a really big train. When we were getting close to the North Pole they had us look out the windows. Then I saw it!! I saw Santa’s house and the Toy factory and Santa was even sitting out in his sleigh waiting for us. We didn’t get to get off the train, but Santa boarded the train!! He came to each child and gave them a silver sleigh bell!! I could hear it ring because “I believe”!! I was shy when Santa came over to me. I was excited to get my bell and gave him a high five though. Then on the way back we all sang Christmas carols!! We got back to the train station around 7:45pm. Then we drove home to Phoenix. I held and rang my bell the whole time!! I would fall asleep, but then would wake up and ring my bell to make sure I still had it in my hand. We made good time getting back! It was such a fun trip!! I can’t wait to go again next year!

Holiday Fun!!

This weekend I made a Ginger Bread House with Mommy and Nana. It was fun, but really, really messy. I worked on it for about 10 minutes and then I was done. Mommy and Nana did the rest! Here is what it looks like

This weekend I went to two parties! On Saturday we had our Lantrip Christmas party. It was at Uncle Eric’s and Aunt Amy’s. It was soooooo much fun! I played with all my cousins. I especially had fun playing with Liv. I got a few presents and lots of candy. My favorite part was eating cookies. I had lots of them. After the party Mommy, Daddy and I went over to Desert Ridge to watch it snow! It was really more like sudsy bubbles, but it was still fun!

On Sunday we went over to Granny Annie’s house for Hanukkah dinner! That was fun too. Uncle Eric, Aunt Amy, Uncle Max and Kelly were there! Also Elisa and Erwin (Granny’s friends) were there too. I got more presents and Granny showed me how to play the Dreidel game. I got a new Mickey Mouse which I love and now sleep with every night!

I think Mommy and Daddy are getting frustrated with me lately. I guess the “Terrible Twos” are nothing compared to the HORRIBLE THREES!! I have decided to not listen anymore and I like to scream and throw tantrums and run wild where ever I am. I have decided I just like things the way I like it and that is the way it is!! It is all about ME and I am having lots of fun! Mommy and Daddy hope it is a phase….hee hee….we’ll see!!!
Bye Bye now!

Parent/Teacher Conference

Today Daddy had a Parent/Teacher Conference with my teacher Ms. Chrystal. I guess I am a pretty good kid. I am always good at helping around the class and when they show me how to do something they only need to show me once because I understand right away. I even show other kids how to do it if they are having problems. I guess I tend to be a little over dramatic if I get upset. I also need to work on how I react when other kids make me mad. Hitting and kicking is bad and I need to use my words more. I think I am getting better at doing that. Right now I am in the “Transition” room and in August I will officially go to the Pre-school room. I am excited for that!! Yeah me!

Zoo Lights!!

Hi! Last night Mommy and Daddy took me to the Phoenix Zoo to go see “Zoo Lights”. Every year the Phoenix Zoo decorates all the trees and has really cool lights that look like animals. I had so much fun! It was really cold so Mommy and Daddy bundled me up. I really liked the lights, but was mostly interested in riding the carousel. Then I just wanted to go home, but we went and looked at more lights and then I got to go home. I am having so much fun this Christmas. My favorite thing is going to look at Christmas lights! I already saw Santa once, but I think we are going to see him again at the Mall. At least that is what Mommy and Daddy told me. I have lots of parties coming up this weekend and next week I am going with Mommy, Daddy and Granny Annie to the North Pole on the Polar Express. That should be fun!! I will tell you all about soon! Bye Bye!

3 Year Wellness Check up

Hi everyone! Abby had her 3 year wellness checkup yesterday. All went really good. The Dr. is always amazed at how healthy Abby has been over the past 3 years. Just the flu, colds and a few ear infections, but nothing ever too serious! Abby is now 36 lbs and 40 ½ Inches tall. She is 90% in weight and 97% in height! Abby has been getting really dry skin over the last year or so. Dr. says it is just a combination of living in the dry Arizona weather, being a red head and maybe a little bit of Eczema. Nothing to worry about so the Dr. recommended we change to Cetaphil body wash and cream. She also is having us change her daily multivitamin to one that includes Omega-3. I guess that is better for the skin. Can’t wait to see if this stuff clears up her dry skin. Just hope we can actually get the cream on her without a fight. She also got her last HIB shot and her N1H1 nasal booster so now she is done with shots for the winter and until she is 4 years old! Usually she is really good with getting her shots, but this time Daddy had to hold her down to get it. I hate when we have to do that. But afterwards she got a sparkly band aid which somehow just makes the world right again!!
