Christmas 2010

I had a great Christmas!! Santa brought me a bike with a baby carrier and a Rapunzel doll! We had a busy day. First we opened presents with Grandma Bev and Papa Wayne, Uncle Eric and Aunt Amy. Then we went over to Nana’s for brunch and opened more presents with Uncle Gregg, Aunt Lisa and cousin Katelyn! Then we went over to Uncle Eric’s and Aunt Amy’s for dinner. Grandpa Dan, Carol, Uncle Max, Great Grandma Schroff and Great Grandpa Schroff were there too. I got to go swimming in Uncle Eric’s Jacuzzi which was so much fun!! I got lots of fun things this year. I am such a lucky girl to have so many people love me so much! My family is the best!

.......and 24 hours later I learned my first lesson about bike riding. You must pay attention to where you are going! I went for a bike ride with Daddy, but on our way back to the house I was looking at the other kids playing in the green belt behind our house. I ended up riding off the sidewalk into the guard rail on the green belt and into the rocks. I scrapped up my nose and hit it so hard on the rail that I got a bad bloody nose. Unfortunately bike helmets do not protect faces. Both me and Daddy where covered with blood. I didn’t cry very long though. Now I know to pay attention when riding my bike!

My first bike accident. Ouch!

4 Year Old Checkup

I had my 4 year old check up last week! I am still a very healthy girl. I am 90% for weight and 97% height. I got to take my first hearing and eye test which I passed. I also got 2 more shots, which I didn’t like. I go to the Dentist this week. I have been really good brushing my teeth every day so I hope I don’t have any cavities.

Mommy has a really big belly. I like to tell her that a lot! I am going to be a Big Sister in about a month. I asked Mommy the other day, " After the baby comes will your belly go away and will you be able to carry me again?". She said yes so I was happy about that!

My new big word that I have learned to use is "Accommodating". I used it when Mommy took me to the restroom at dinner. The restrooms were really nice and I told Mommy that they were really accommodating! I think I surprised Mommy with my big word!! I am so smart!

Zoo Lights / Santa

I am getting really excited for Christmas. We went to Zoo lights and then last week we went with Granny Annie to the Railroad Park to see lights and go see Santa. Santa sent me an email message from the North Pole. Here is the link if you want to watch it: http://www.portablenorthpole.tv/watch/1MlOylRQ9s_JnVbCQxxDwA . He knew exactly who I was!! I like to watch it over and over again. When I went to go see Santa I sat on his lap all by myself! I asked for a bike with a baby carrier on the back. I didn't ask for anything else. That is all I want. Even though I have been a really good girl this year, Santa sent an Elf to watch over me this month. It is my Elf on a Shelf! Every day he sees what I do and then reports back to Santa at night. Then he comes back and hides in a different spot each day. I like getting up and finding him every morning. I think the Elf reports good things, because I am a really good girl!!

Belated Thanksgiving Update

For Thanksgiving my school had a big Potluck dinner. At the dinner my Pre-school class sang a special Thanksgiving song. We didn’t really sing all together, but we all looked really cute! For Thanksgiving dinner we went over to Aunt Amy and Uncle Eric’s. That was fun!

HALLOWEEN!

Mommy is a little late in updating this! Oooops! I had a really fun Halloween. I dressed up as Cinderella! On the Friday before I had a Halloween party at my school. Then on Saturday I went to a Halloween birthday party. Then on Sunday I went to Desert Ridge to go Trick or Treating to the stores. I also went Trick or Treating Halloween night! I did so good. I said "Trick or Treat" to all the houses I went to and made sure to say Thank you! Some houses I told Mommy that I wanted to do it by myself. Mommy didn't like that, but hung back a little so I could be a big girl. I got lots of candy, but I am not really that into eating it. That is okay though....Mommy and Daddy will take care of that for me!

Carving my pumpkin. I didn't like scooping the insides so made Mommy do it. I designed the face though!

I am 4 Years old!!!

Yesterday I turned 4 years old!! I brought cookies to my class to celebrate! They sang me Happy Birthday and I wore a crown and got lots of cards. Mommy and Daddy took me to Red Robin for dinner. Then we went home and had cake and opened more presents! I am so excited to be 4 years old. I am soooooo big now. I keep telling everyone that I will be 5 next time!!

Mommy and Daddy got me my very own camera! I really did like it even though this picture doesn't really show it.

My mini cake that Mommy and Daddy got me. Mommy couldn't find my 4 year old candle so we used me 3 and 1. 3 + 1 = 4 so that works!!

Chuck E. Cheese Birthday Party!!

This past weekend was my 4 year old Birthday Party!! It was held at Chuck E. Cheese on Sunday, October 24th at 4PM! It was sooooo much fun! I had 17 of my friends there. I made cards to give to Chuck E. I told Daddy that Chuck E is always giving out tokens and tickets to kids and he doesn’t ever get anything, so I made him special cards. Usually I don’t get within 5 feet of chuck E, but on my Birthday I was really brave and went and hugged Chuck E, gave him high fives and danced with him. I had a Disney Cars (Lightning McQueen) cake and I got lots of really cool presents too!! I am such a lucky girl!!

SISTER!!

I found out this week that I am going to have a little sister. I already knew that though. Mommy and Daddy took me to the Dr. so we could find out if we were having a boy or a girl, but I don't know why. I already told them I was getting a sister. They never listen!

My First Camping Trip!

This past weekend I went on my first camping trip! I went with Mommy, Daddy, Uncle Eric, Aunt Amy and Uncle Max. All the dogs came too….Koda, Midge and Maisy! We went up to the east side of Flagstaff, AZ to a spot that Uncle Eric had found a couple years ago. I guess a fire had come through since then so there were a lot of burnt areas. It was still really pretty where we camped though. The dirt was extra dirty with old soot from the fire. I got to get really dirty on this trip!! On my camping trip I had fun searching for pine cones with Aunt Amy, watching Daddy and Uncle Eric chop wood, playing horseshoes, hitting golf balls (that’s right…Daddy brought some clubs and balls to hit into the forest!), helping build the fire, eating marshmallows and sleeping in my new pink and purple sleeping bag. It was so much fun! I can’t wait to go camping again!

First day of Preschool

Monday was my first day in my Preschool room. I was so excited to go that when I got up that morning I was sitting in my jammies and asked Daddy, “can I go to school now?”. It was only 6am so Mommy said we had to finish getting ready before we could leave. I put on a pretty dress and even let Mommy do my hair. My new classroom is lots bigger than my other room. I am such a big girl now. Next year I will go to Pre-K and then Kindergarten. I am soooooooo big!

Missouri Vacation – Part 1 – Springfield

Mommy and Daddy decided to take me to Missouri this year to see my Great Grandparents. We left on August 6th. We got to go to a little airport (Alligant Air) that flies into Springfield. That was fun except that Mommy and Daddy forgot my earphones for the DVD player so I had to use their ear buds. I didn’t like them as much. I did really good on the flight though. It was hot in Missouri. I guess a heat wave was going through. I didn’t mind so much, but I think Mommy was hot. While we were visiting Great Grandma and Grandpa Schroff, Daddy and I walked over to Starbucks every morning and I went to the country club and went swimming a lot. It was so much fun! I also went over to Uncle Steve and Rachel’s house to go swimming. Then all of us went to the fair on Sunday. I won lots of fair prizes and went on lots of rides. I also saw pigs and cows!

Then on Monday we went to Silver Dollar City. I got to go on lots of water rides. That cooled me off a lot. They even had sprinklers positioned around the park so everyone could cool off. Rachel had to take me on lots of rides because Mommy wasn’t allowed to go and Daddy was too tall to sit with me. He got kicked off several times for not fitting….hee hee! I had lots of fun riding rides with Rachel!! Mommy started feeling the baby kick that day too. She said the baby was telling her that its Jacuzzi was already warm enough and to get in the AC. I really enjoyed seeing my family! Great Grandma and Great Grandpa are coming out for Christmas so that will be exciting to see them again!

Missouri Vacation – Part 2 – Rolla

On Tuesday we drove half way to Rolla and met up with Grandma Bev and Papa Wayne. Then they took us back to Rolla, to the farm to see my Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Haas. I loved being on the farm. I got to pick vegetables out of the garden and go swimming every day. I also got to ride the ATV with Daddy….I called it the ATM though. I also liked to feed and call for the Bull. I don’t think he liked me, but that is okay.

Mommy and Daddy went to Montauk for a day to go fishing. I was going to go, but then decided to stay and go swimming with Grandma. Mommy was suppose to bring me back a fish, but she said that they didn’t catch enough to bring them back so they let them go. I was sad at first, but then I was okay.

We had dinner over at Aunt Carolyn’s and Uncle Gary’s and we had dinner over at Marsha and Ron’s house too. Everyone was so nice and gave me toys to play with and put on movies for me to watch. I just made myself at home where ever I went.

On the farm after the rain!

Some other things I liked doing on the farm was seeing the cows, driving the truck with Daddy, riding in the tractor with Great Grandpa, catching bugs, squishing flies with the fly swatter, seeing all the humming birds, going through the corn field with Sam (the dog) and feeding the barn kitties.
I told Grandma that being a farm girl was fun, but that it was a lot of work. I can’t wait to go back though. The plane ride back to Phoenix was longer. I had my moments, but over all Mommy and Daddy said I was a really good girl on the plane!

Big News!!

I have exciting news!! I am going to be a big sister! yeah!! At first I only NEEDED a sister, but now I want a brother. I keep telling Mommy that I have a baby in my belly too and so does Daddy. I don't really understand when the baby is coming....today, 1 day, next week. Oh well. When the baby gets here I told Mommy and Daddy that I am going to teach it to dance and clap their hands!! I am going to be the bestest big sister ever!!

Mommy: 9 Weeks along and feeling okay. A little nauseous, but better when I eat. Already gained 7 pounds and already my belly has puffed out so my clothes are already tight. I guess that is normal the 2nd time around. Due date is January 21, 2011. Nick and I are really really excited!!

US Open

Daddy drove out to California on Saturday to go to the US Open. Now it is just Mommy and me for 10 days. We had a fun weekend. It was much cooler on Saturday so we went and had a picnic and then went to the splash mat in the afternoon. On Sunday we went over to Nana's and went swimming. I also got to go over to Papa Maury's and Grandma Kathy's for dinner on Monday. I saw Aunt Jodi there and we had lots of fun playing.

Daddy is having lots of fun at the open. He is volunteering on the 18th hole and is very happy to be watching golf all week long. I miss Daddy. I get to talk to him on the phone all the time. I think it is funny to hang up on him. Daddy told me he was going to bring me a Nemo fish from California. Yeah! I reminded him on Monday about my fish. When Mommy asked me what was my favorite thing at school on Monday I told her it was missing Daddy.

I get to go to Sea World in 3 days! Yeah!
