Monday was my first day in my Preschool room. I was so excited to go that when I got up that morning I was sitting in my jammies and asked Daddy, “can I go to school now?”. It was only 6am so Mommy said we had to finish getting ready before we could leave. I put on a pretty dress and even let Mommy do my hair. My new classroom is lots bigger than my other room. I am such a big girl now. Next year I will go to Pre-K and then Kindergarten. I am soooooooo big!
HI! I'm Abby and I am 6 years old....and I am Savannah and I am almost 2! Our Grandma "requested" that our Daddy create a blog so all can see me be me. Thanks Daddy!

Missouri Vacation – Part 1 – Springfield
Mommy and Daddy decided to take me to Missouri this year to see my Great Grandparents. We left on August 6th. We got to go to a little airport (Alligant Air) that flies into Springfield. That was fun except that Mommy and Daddy forgot my earphones for the DVD player so I had to use their ear buds. I didn’t like them as much. I did really good on the flight though. It was hot in Missouri. I guess a heat wave was going through. I didn’t mind so much, but I think Mommy was hot. While we were visiting Great Grandma and Grandpa Schroff, Daddy and I walked over to Starbucks every morning and I went to the country club and went swimming a lot. It was so much fun! I also went over to Uncle Steve and Rachel’s house to go swimming. Then all of us went to the fair on Sunday. I won lots of fair prizes and went on lots of rides. I also saw pigs and cows!
Then on Monday we went to Silver Dollar City. I got to go on lots of water rides. That cooled me off a lot. They even had sprinklers positioned around the park so everyone could cool off. Rachel had to take me on lots of rides because Mommy wasn’t allowed to go and Daddy was too tall to sit with me. He got kicked off several times for not fitting….hee hee! I had lots of fun riding rides with Rachel!! Mommy started feeling the baby kick that day too. She said the baby was telling her that its Jacuzzi was already warm enough and to get in the AC. I really enjoyed seeing my family! Great Grandma and Great Grandpa are coming out for Christmas so that will be exciting to see them again!

Missouri Vacation – Part 2 – Rolla
On Tuesday we drove half way to Rolla and met up with Grandma Bev and Papa Wayne. Then they took us back to Rolla, to the farm to see my Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Haas. I loved being on the farm. I got to pick vegetables out of the garden and go swimming every day. I also got to ride the ATV with Daddy….I called it the ATM though. I also liked to feed and call for the Bull. I don’t think he liked me, but that is okay.
Mommy and Daddy went to Montauk for a day to go fishing. I was going to go, but then decided to stay and go swimming with Grandma. Mommy was suppose to bring me back a fish, but she said that they didn’t catch enough to bring them back so they let them go. I was sad at first, but then I was okay.
We had dinner over at Aunt Carolyn’s and Uncle Gary’s and we had dinner over at Marsha and Ron’s house too. Everyone was so nice and gave me toys to play with and put on movies for me to watch. I just made myself at home where ever I went.
Some other things I liked doing on the farm was seeing the cows, driving the truck with Daddy, riding in the tractor with Great Grandpa, catching bugs, squishing flies with the fly swatter, seeing all the humming birds, going through the corn field with Sam (the dog) and feeding the barn kitties.
I told Grandma that being a farm girl was fun, but that it was a lot of work. I can’t wait to go back though. The plane ride back to Phoenix was longer. I had my moments, but over all Mommy and Daddy said I was a really good girl on the plane!
