Munds Park Trip

This weekend we all went to Munds Park, AZ (near Flagstaff) to visit my Granny Annie! We drove up Saturday afternoon. I didn’t want to nap so I didn’t. When we got there we went to the club and went swimming. The pool was so much fun! I went swimming for two hours and Mommy and Daddy got to trade off lying in the sun!! It was only 80 degrees there compared to 108 in Phoenix! Then we went back to Granny’s house. When we went for a walk later that night I got to see real cows!! They mooed at me and I mooed back at them! That night I didn’t want to go to sleep in the big bed, so Daddy slept with me! I pretty much took up the whole bed so Daddy didn’t really sleep very well. The next morning we all went to breakfast. Granny then took me to the park and swimming again while Mommy and Daddy went and played golf!! Mommy says she played really good. Daddy said he didn’t. Poor Daddy! Then that afternoon we went swimming again and then went home!! I had so much fun this weekend! I can’t wait to go back and visit Granny Annie’s cabin again!

Next weekend is 4th of July weekend! Not sure what we are doing yet. I think this year might be the first year I stay awake for fireworks!!

My New Bed!

I am such a big girl now!! Mommy and Daddy put me in my Big Girl bed this weekend. We went over to Papa Maury’s to pick it up. I helped carry it out to the car! I love sleeping in my Big Girl bed. There is now more room for my pillows and stuff animals. I still won’t leave my bed on my own at night which I hear people say is a good thing. Maybe someday I will venture out on my own and surprise Mommy and Daddy in the middle of the night!

While I was over at Papa Maury’s I got to go swimming. I am getting so good! I kick my legs and can swim under water with only a little help from Daddy. Mommy and Daddy took me out of swim lessons because I was getting bored and started to act up and not listen. They say that I am actually doing much better at swimming now that I am out of the class. Who knew! They will probably put me back in lessons when I am a little older and I can go on my own. I tend to listen a little better to my teachers rather than my Mommy and Daddy. Instead of swim class Mommy and Daddy put me in “My Little Gym”! I love it. I can do gymnastics and run around. If I don’t feel like paying attention that day that is okay! I can run around and do my own thing. I am really good at listening to my teacher and following along though!

Birthday Party at Jungle Bounce

This weekend I also went to my friend Cole’s 3rd Birthday party! It was at Jungle Bounce. There were lots of bouncy houses there. I didn’t want to go in them at first, but then Mommy went in with me and I liked them much better. I even learned to crawl up the one with the slide and went down it over and over and over. Then we had cake and opened presents!! It was fun! I can’t wait for my 3rd Birthday!!

I am such a big girl now!

Lots of exciting stuff has been going on in my world. First….my Daddy broke my crib!! Not really, but that is what I keep telling everyone. My Daddy took off one side of my crib and turned it into a toddler bed. They put on this rail thing to keep me from rolling off. So far I really like it. I can get in and out of my bed all on my own now. I still won’t leave my bed on my own though. I call for Mommy and Daddy to come and get me when I wake up. Mommy and Nana took me shopping to get me my bedding set for when I get my big girl bed. It is purple (my favorite color) with fairies on it. I think I get to switch to my big girl bed at the end of May. I love my big girl bed!!!! It is a big white trundle bed from Pottery Barn (I think). It was my cousin Katie’s and then my cousin Emily’s and now it will be mine!!! It is over at Papa Maury’s house. When I go over there I visit my big girl bed!

I am also excited to say that I am getting potty trained!!! I am doing really good so far. I don’t use diapers at all at Daycare anymore, but I still have about 1 or 2 accidents a day. It is hard to hold it in and I am not really sure all the time when I should use the potty. I have Elmo, Ariel and Minnie Mouse underwear. Sometimes I like to wear 2 or 3 pairs at a time. Mommy and Daddy try to stop me from doing that, but I don’t understand why. I like them all so I should wear them all at once! I am not using the potty as good at home, but I am sure that will get better with time. I like getting stickers and skittles when I do use it so maybe I will start using it more often. Mommy thinks that potty training is harder than she thought it would be. Something about poopy underwear not being fun. Hee, Hee ….oh well!! Someday I will get the hang of it.

I got to go to see Elmo Live with Granny Annie last weekend. That was so much fun and I was such a well behaved little girl. We had 3rd row seats and I only got scared when the characters came up the isle next to me. Now all I want to watch is my Elmo DVD’s. I also got to go to the Dentist for the first time!! I first watched Mommy get her teeth cleaned and then when it was my turn I didn’t want to get in the chair so I laid on top of Daddy. I opened my mouth so wide and they counted my teeth. I even let them brush my teeth with bubble gum toothpaste. Then they tried brushing my teeth with fluoride stuff, but I had had enough by that time and wouldn’t open my mouth anymore. I guess I did way better than expected for my first trip to the dentist. Then I got to pick out a toothbrush and I got two stickers!! I took them to Daycare with me!

In a week Mommy and Daddy are going to Carlsbad, CA for vacation. I don’t get to go though. I am going to stay with Grandma Bev and Papa Wayne. It is going to be soooo much fun!!! I am sure I will miss my Mommy and Daddy, but I love to run around and be chased by Papa. He is going to be really tired by the time the weekend is over!! Hee hee!! I can’t wait!!

Dying Eggs

I had the BEST Easter weekend!! On Friday my Mommy and Daddy and I went to the splash mat and then we came home and dyed eggs for the Easter Bunny to hide! It was fun and I did really good at putting the eggs in the cup.

Easter Egg Hunt #1

Saturday morning I woke up and it was rainy and cold outside. Mommy, Daddy and Grandma took me up to the school for a big Easter Egg hunt. It had stopped raining by the time the hunt started, but all the eggs were dirty. I didn’t like dirty eggs. Grandma was nice and wiped off each egg I picked up with her Kleenex. Then Mommy and Daddy helped me open all my eggs and get the candy out. Then we all went and ate hot dogs!

Disney On Ice

After the Easter Egg Hunt I took a long nap. When I woke up Mommy, Daddy, Grandma and Nana took me to Disney on Ice!! It was so much fun! I got to see Mickey Mouse, Cinderella, Snow White and the Incredibles. My favorite part was Buzz Lightyear. Mommy and Daddy got me my own Buzz Lightyear Toy! I was such a good girl and sat in my seat for most of the show. I also got to eat a popcorn that was bigger than me!
