Dentist

Yesterday I had a very traumatic Dentist experience. On my last Dentist checkup it was discovered that I had 4 cavities! That's right...4!! I brush my teeth, but still had cavities. Mommy says I must have her bad teeth. She takes care of her teeth and still has lots of cavities. Of course Daddy hardly ever gets cavities. No fair.

Daddy took me to a new Pediodentist to get my cavities. I was really good when they looked at my teeth and I even let them do x-rays! No problem! Then they gave me a little drink to relax me. That took about 45 minutes to kick in before they could give me my shot to numb my mouth. After it took effect they took me back to the room to do the cavities. This is when the bad part started. They put me in the chair and had to strap me down and put my head in a vice so I couldn't move. I did not like that. After they were done I was really, really upset. Daddy told mommy that when he saw me he almost started crying. When I got home I went straight to bed and told everyone to "Leave me alone!". After my nap and a PB&J I was better. The dentist did give me a balloon and a new stuffed Nemo fish. I guess Mommy asked around and found out the whole strapping down thing is common for cavities in Toddlers. She and Daddy wish someone had told them to prepare me....and them. But now it is over. Let's hope the next check up is better!

Disneyland with Daddy!

On my trip with Daddy last weekend he took to Disneyland. We had so much fun! I am now tall enough to go on most of the rides…even the roller coasters. Mommy didn’t want me to go on all of them, but I saw them and wanted to go... sooooooo my Daddy took me! Yeah for Daddy! We first went on Splash Mountain. I liked the singing parts, but I didn’t like the big fall. When we were done I said I wanted to go again. Here is a picture of how I felt about the big drop! Scary!!The rest of the day we went on all sorts of rides. Daddy even took me on the Matterhorn roller coaster. I loved that so much I asked to go again. I saw the parade and danced in the streets with everyone! I was such a good girl all day. I didn’t take a nap, but ended up falling asleep right before fireworks. I woke up just in time to watch. Then we left Disneyland. I was so over tired by then that I had a breakdown right outside Disneyland. There was lots of other over tired, crying kids outside too so I just joined along with them. I had so much fun on my trip with just Daddy! I can’t wait to do it again.

Last day at the beach!

California with Daddy - Day 1

We finally got to Carlsbad at 10:30pm. I started getting grumpy in the car and when we got to the condo I did not want to sleep in my own bed. I got to sleep with Daddy instead. I woke up at 6am and Daddy and I went to breakfast. Here is what Daddy had for breakfast. I had a pancake!

Now we are on our way to the beach! Yeah!

After the beach we are going to go home and take a nap. Then Daddy said he would take me to the Sea-Life Aquarium! I can't wait!

My Trip with Daddy!!!

We are off to California! Just me and my Daddy! My Daddy is taking me to California to go to the beach and to Disneyland! I am so excited. Mommy could not come. She is going to a PEO Convention with Nana. I will miss her, but I am going to have soooooo much fun with just Daddy. We have only been in the car for 15 minutes and all I keep saying is, “Are we there yet”. I don’t think Daddy thinks it is very funny! Bye!

Miniature Golf!

Last Saturday Daddy took me to play miniature golf. It was fun, but really windy out. See my video!! On Sunday Mommy took me on a picnic while Daddy was playing real golf. It was a great weekend!

Aunt Sara!!!

This last weekend Aunt Sara came to visit. I got home from Granny's on Saturday morning and there she was. She came with us to my soccer game and then we all ate lunch together. Then Mommy and Aunt Sara went shopping. Later we all made dinner and cookies and watched the Chipmunks movie....which I think Aunt Sara really enjoyed!! On Sunday we all went to the Splash Mat and then we drove Aunt Sara to the airport to go back to California. Aunt Sara even brought me presents. She got me a new backpack, a new princess book and a Princess sing-a-long. I love everything!! It was so much fun to hang out with Aunt Sara. Can't wait to see her again. Maybe next time Mommy will remember to take pictures. :)

Wedding/Date Night!

This last weekend Nick and I went to my friend Becky’s wedding. Nana Barbara took Abby for the night. Abby was so excited to go to Nana’s that when we were trying to get her pumped up for her Soccer game all she wanted to know was… when do I go to Nana’s? or where was Nana? Needless to say…..she wasn’t really interested in the soccer game this week. The wedding was really nice. It was simple, sweet and lots of fun! The wedding was over earlier than we thought so Nick and I took advantage of our “Date Night” and went to a wine bar called Uncorked and had some great wine!
