Labor Day Weekend

Hi everyone!! I wanted to share some pictures of my Labor Day weekend. Mommy and Daddy took me up to Munds Park, AZ to stay with my Granny Annie at her cabin. When we got up there it was cold and raining. Uncle Eric and Aunt Amy went too. On Sunday I got to go play golf with Mommy, Daddy and Granny. It was Family Golf so we only play 9 holes. I really enjoyed riding in the golf cart and Daddy helped me putt the ball into the little hole! Then on Monday we drove to Prescott. I have a really good story about Prescott….

Daddy had to get some shoes at a golf course in Prescott. While he was trying on shoes I was playing with the cute animal head covers in the store. There was a ladybug head cover that I especially liked. Since I was getting restless, Mommy took me out on the patio to watch the golfers. When we were out there a really nice lady came out and handed me a bag and said, “I heard someone out here really wanted this”. Inside the bag was the ladybug head cover!!! Mommy was in shock! I said thank you and then the lady disappeared!! It was so nice that this lady bought me a present. It really showed me how nice people can be in this world!!

After we left the golf store we drove to Yarnell to go visit Grandma Bev and Papa Wayne!! I didn’t want to take a nap so I didn’t!! We ate dinner with them and then went home. It was a big weekend and now I am back in school.

Did I mention that I am potty trained now!! Yeah me!! I got a Hello Kitty surprise at school and I am a big girl now!! Bye!!

Summer Vacation-Carlsbad, CA 2009

My latest and greatest adventure was to Carlsbad, CA (near San Diego)! Unfortunately I don’t really have any pictures to share because Mommy and Daddy left our camera at a restaurant and now it is gone forever! Bummer! Mommy is still hoping it will show up. Luckily Daddy had a few on his phone though.

I had the best trip ever! We first hit the beach. I played in the sand and built sand castles with Mommy. Daddy dug me holes to play in too. I loved playing in the ocean and wasn’t scare of the waves at all. We also got to visit with Uncle Mat and his family the first weekend we were there. Then we went to my Great Uncle Tony’s and had dinner with them in San Diego. That was fun. They have a really pretty deck that overlooks San Diego.

On Tuesday I got to go to Disneyland!!!! I was so great! Right when we walked in I got to meet Mickey Mouse so I got his autograph. I also got autographs from Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Fairy Godmother, Tigger and Pooh! The best part was meeting the Princesses though!! Mommy waited in line for me (for 1 ½ hours!!.....thanks Mom!) while Daddy took me on the Toon Town roller coaster! When I got back, I got to meet Cinderella, Mulan and my favorite….Princess Aurora!!! Then Aunt Sara met us and we got to go on Big Thunder Mountain. Yup….I am officially tall enough for roller coasters. Mommy was really stressed out about taking me, but I loved it! I put my hands up and everything!! Can’t wait to go to Disneyland again!

We went to the beach some more and on Thursday we all went to the San Diego Zoo! My favorite part was the Giraffes! They had a Giraffe named Abby! That was really cool!! I got to ride on the big double decker buss and go on the sky safari too! We also got a new stroller. Someone took our stroller by mistake so we got theirs. Seemed kind of silly though since our stroller had nothing in it and theirs did. Weird they didn’t notice. Oh well…too late now! (note to parents….put your name and number on the stroller just in case this happens).

Now we are back in hot Arizona and back to school. Good news is that I just transferred to the 2 ½ year old “Transition Room”. I am almost potty trained and once I am three I get to go to Pre-school!!! Yeah for me!!

WOW!!

Happy Fourth of July!! I got to see fireworks for the first time this weekend!! Usually I fall asleep before they start. I went with Mommy, Daddy and Grandpa Schroff out to the Mesa Country Club. They had games, music and popsicles! We all had popsicles, but mine kept melting quicker than I could eat it. It was 102 degrees out, but it wasn’t really that bad in the shade. When the fireworks started I was so amazed. I sat on Daddy’s lap and watched all the pretty colors. Then I sat on Mommy’s lap and then Grandpa’s lap. After about 10 minutes though I got bored and went back to playing with my glow sticks. The next day I wanted to see more fireworks, but I guess I will have to wait until next year.
